Yin Yoga is a slow-paced approach where floor poses- primarily targeting the legs, hips and spine- are held for a longer period of time in a relaxed manner, up to 5 minutes or more. In this way, the benefits reach deeper into connective tissues, enabling enhanced flexibility. Yin Yoga might appear easy at first glance, however the challenge remains in keeping stationary while cultivating stillness. Yin is a quiet practice that invites you into an intimate relationship with your body and mind. Bring several blankets or towels. Meets via Zoom. $20 per person.
